Wildcats Clinch Central Division Wrestling Title!

Novi Wildcats secured the Central Division title last week with wins over South Lyon and South Lyon East. We finished up the regular season tonight with wins over division rival  Northville and WLW. The Wildcats finished with a 5-0 record in the Central Division and 13-2 overall. The Wildcats will move on to the KLAA

Novi Wrestlers Finish 3rd

Novi Varsity Wrestling participated this weekend at Northville Team Tournament.  Novi finished 3rd of 12 going 4-1 on the day.  Novi over Melvindale 39-37, Novi lost to Edsel Ford 21-47( eventual tournament champs),Novi over Lakeview 45-30, Novi over Wayne Memorial 47-25 and Novi over Plymouth 39-33.  Strong performances by Chris Silva 112lbs 4-1, Ryan Heur 140lbs 5-0, Eric Wright 145

Wrestling Off To A Fast Start

Wrestling opened the season at Farmington last night.  The Wildcats were 2-0 as we defeated N. Farmington 56-12 and Farmington 51-30.  It was nice for us to get two wins as we are far from where we need to be.  The early competitions highlight what areas you need to cover.  We are a young team

The Novi Junior Cats Wrestling Club is in its 5th year. This program is designed for kids in 1st – 8th grade to introduce young athletes to the great sport of wrestling. MS Wrestling Continues Their Stellar Season!

The MS wrestling team continued their stellar season at the Waterford Invitational on Saturday.  While team scores are not kept, the team placed six wrestlers in the finals!  Earning gold medals were Alex Vargus, Justin Levine, and Clay Roark-Shaf.  Taking home silver medals were Jacob Brown, Tyler White, and Drew Heur.  Jordan Smith, Brevin Buchman,

MS Wrestling Wins Again!

The MS wrestling team improved to 4 – 1 by defeating  Holmes MS 45 – 24 Tuesday, 2/23.  Coming home with victories were Jacob Brown, Evan Oegema, Gavin Flynn, Drew Heur, and Tyler White.  Winning twice were Justin Levine, Alex Vargus Areeb Rahim, and Clay Roark-Sharf.

Another Win for MS Wrestling

The wrestling team rolled to its third straight victory by defeating Frost MS 63-15 on Wednesday, 2/17.  Winning their matches were Gavin Flynn, Jacob Brown, Clay Roark-Shaf, Drew Heur, and Eric Rodriguez.  Wrestlers winning two matches include Alex Vargus, Areeb Rahim and Evan Oegema.    

MS Wrestling Wins Again

Wednesday, February 10th Novi Middle School’s wrestling team defeated Emerson Middle School 39-36.  Winning their matches were Justin Levine, Alex Vargas, Brevine Buchman, Jacob Brown, Areeb Rahim, Gavin Flynn, Andrew Heur and Eric Rodriguez.  Great job men!  Our next wrestling match is on Wednesday, February 17th at Frost MS at 4:00 pm.
