Multiple Teams · Wildcats Sweep…Wildcats

All 3 teams came home from Plymouth with wins Tuesday in conference action.  Freshmen held on for a close win in the opener while JV came out of the gates quickly, opening a 18-3 lead in the first quarter before winning the game by a final score of 52-42.  Plymouth came back from the large deficit to cut the lead to 1 by halftime but the Wildcats rode the hot hand of Bryce Lubin (25 points, 7-9 from 3 point line) and continued strong play of Chennedy Marshall (10 points, 13 rebounds) for the win.  Lubin scored 11 straight points early in the second half to put the game out of reach.  Tanner Samolin and Isaiah Washington combined for 15 rebounds.  In the varsity game, Novi used a strong defensive effort to win 46-37.  Jiovanni Miles and Aryan Verma combined for half of the Novi points while Ashton Smith played a strong game in his second game back from injury.  All 3 teams are playing tonight against Hartland at Novi High School, the first home games after a long road stretch.
