Miles Sloan scampered around end on a 40 yard touchdown run to open the scoring for the 8th grade football team, as they defeated Northville Hillside, 28 – 6 on Wednesday, October 14th.  Hillside tied the game at 6 – 6, but the Cats roared back with less than two minutes left in the first half, as Niko Davis scored from 15 yards out, and Ben Abraham added the conversion.  Tony Mascari put Novi further ahead with a 25 yard punt return for yet another touchdown.  Kyle Henkel finished the scoring with a 53 yard burst through the middle, and Ein Mack added the conversion.  The defense played outstanding with key plays by Clay Roark-Scharf, Sean Molloy, Luke Tuckey, and Mike Lynch.  The team will end their season next Wednesday, October 21st by playing their final game on the high school football field against Walnut Creek.
