The Novi Boys Cross Country Team hosted two teams Tuesday, defeating Grand Blanc and losing by the infamous dual-meet tie-breaker to 7th-ranked Brighton. Temperatures exceeded 80 degrees at Cass Benton. Trailing by about 10 points at the mile, Novi’s boys cut the deficit to four at the three mile mark and got into a tie when Nate Wood passed a group of bulldogs in the last uphill stretch.

Congratulations to Wildcats who set a personal Cass Benton record: Prateek Bhola, Ismael Castaneda, Sungu Han, Connor Harte, Andrew Kaempfer, Bryan Kaempfer, Ethan Kopel, Adam Krueger, Ian Masterson, Gabriel Mudel, Trey Mullins, Joshua O’Meara, Benjamin Robbins, Jonathan Wang, Nate Wood, Marvin Wu.
